Develop comprehensive nutrition strategies and action plans, incorporating evidence-based interventions, innovative approaches, and best practices. Oversee the design and implementation of nutrition assessments, surveys, and data collection activities to inform program design, targeting, and response efforts. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with donors, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to mobilize resources, leverage expertise, and advocate for policy change. Lead the development and submission of high-quality project proposals, budgets, and funding requests, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams and partners on nutrition programming, including nutrition assessment, education, counseling, and behavior change communication. Lead the monitoring and evaluation of program performance, including the analysis of nutrition data, identification of trends, and adaptation of strategies to maximize impact and sustainability. Represent the organization in relevant forums, conferences, and coordination mechanisms, sharing lessons learned, best practices, and advocating for the prioritization of nutrition needs. Stay informed about emerging research, trends, and innovations in the field of nutrition, and contribute ideas for innovation and improvement to program design and implementation. Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including the ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Strong technical expertise in areas such as nutrition assessment, education, counseling, behavior change communication, and program monitoring and evaluation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with donors, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders, and mobilize resources for program implementation. Fluency in English is typically required, with proficiency in other languages relevant to the geographical context of operations being advantageous.
