Develop and implement comprehensive shelter and NFIs strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, humanitarian principles, and donor requirements. Lead and mentor a team of program managers, coordinators, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with donors, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to mobilize resources, coordinate response efforts, and advocate for the rights and needs of affected populations. Lead the development and negotiation of project proposals, budgets, and funding agreements with donors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of program performance, including the collection, analysis, and utilization of data to measure impact, identify lessons learned, and inform decision-making. Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and partners on shelter and NFIs assistance interventions, ensuring quality and accountability throughout the project cycle. Represent the organization in relevant forums, conferences, and coordination mechanisms, advocating for the prioritization of shelter and NFIs needs in humanitarian response efforts. Stay abreast of emerging trends, innovations, and best practices in shelter and NFIs assistance, and contribute to the development of new initiatives and approaches. Foster a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the organization, promoting professional development and capacity building for staff and partners. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and donor requirements in all aspects of program implementation. Manage and mitigate risks associated with program implementation, including security risks and operational challenges. Provide strategic direction and oversight for emergency response efforts, including rapid assessments and deployments, to address humanitarian needs in disaster-affected areas. Lead advocacy and resource mobilization efforts to increase support for shelter and NFIs assistance programs, both internally and externally. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure integrated and coordinated response efforts across different sectors. Proven track record of successful leadership and management in designing, implementing, and monitoring complex shelter and NFIs programs in humanitarian settings. Extensive experience in strategic planning, program design, and resource mobilization for humanitarian response efforts. Strong technical expertise in areas such as program management, logistics, supply chain management, needs assessment, and monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with donors, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders, and mobilize resources for program implementation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and make sound decisions in fast-paced and challenging environments. Experience in financial management, budgeting, and donor compliance, with the ability to manage large budgets and ensure accountability and transparency in program expenditures.
