Develop project work plans, budgets, and timelines. Coordinate with project staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Manage project resources effectively, including finances, personnel, and materials. Monitor project progress and address any challenges or issues that arise. Prepare and submit project reports to donors, funders, and other stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and support on WASH-related issues, such as water supply systems, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion. Conduct assessments and surveys to identify WASH needs and priorities in target communities. Design and implement appropriate WASH interventions based on assessment findings and best practices. Ensure WASH interventions comply with technical standards, guidelines, and regulations. Build capacity among project staff, partners, and community members on WASH-related topics. Coordinate WASH activities across multiple projects or locations. Liaise with project teams, partner organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and coordination. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training related to WASH programming. Foster partnerships and networks to leverage resources and maximize impact. Advocate for WASH issues and raise awareness among key stakeholders and the public. Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the effectiveness and impact of WASH interventions. Collect and analyze data on project activities, outputs, and outcomes. Identify lessons learned and best practices to inform programmatic decision-making and improve project performance. Prepare and disseminate monitoring and evaluation reports to stakeholders and donors. Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements and contractual obligations. Identify training needs among project staff, partners, and community members. Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on WASH-related topics. Provide mentoring and technical support to junior staff and partners. Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning exchanges to enhance WASH programming effectiveness. Requirements Core Competencies: Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and values. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technical Competencies: Knowledge of WASH principles, standards, and guidelines. Familiarity with water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion techniques. Experience in conducting WASH assessments and designing appropriate interventions. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Understanding of community engagement and participatory approaches in WASH programming. Qualifications/Requirements: An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field of the social sciences, such as political science, public policy, sociology, gender studies, economics, or public administration. 3–7 years of relevant professional experience in gender and inclusion mainstreaming with a track record of policy analysis, advocacy, and strategic planning. Recognized expertise in governance, anti-corruption, gender and inclusion, corruption and discrimination, and inclusive policy analysis. Experience in providing training, capacity building, technical assistance, and quality control to project stakeholders or on applied research projects. Ability to lead efforts in incorporating gender-inclusive and anti-discriminatory approaches into projects and programs.
