Systems Engineer, Mid

• →Performs detailed engineering for system sustainment and modifications, including technical baseline updates, ICD/ICS/interface analysis, customer onboarding, requirements traceability, data-flow and dependency analysis, and configuration-data maintenance. Supports Bifrost and CDS-related change packages, engineering documentation, test execution, and implementation activities under Senior Systems Engineer direction.
• →Support complex projects to include design and management over the project life cycle.
• →Applies sound principles and methods to difficult problems in technical areas to arrive at automated solutions.
• →Apply work-processes and tools to manage risks on technical projects in the areas of engineering, organizations studies, and project management.
• →Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.
• →Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings.
• →Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-disciplineengineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements.
• →Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensureapplicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
• →Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
• →Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractualrequirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years of related work experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00/Yr. - USD $140,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
