Project Manager (Contract)

Amerit Fleet Solutions is a leading provider of fleet maintenance, operational support and workforce solutions, supporting some of the most advanced and demanding commercial fleet, electric vehicle (EV) and autonomous vehicle (AV) programmes in operation today. As we continue to expand across the UK and Europe, we are building the infrastructure, teams and capabilities required to support the next generation of mobility.

We're looking for an exceptional Project Manager to work directly with the General Manager, UK & Europe, supporting client growth, operational development and business change across a fast-moving and rapidly evolving sector.

This is not a traditional project management role.

We're looking for a commercially minded and generalist Project Manager who can apply their skills across a wide range of projects, programmes and business initiatives. One week you may be leading a systems implementation, the next supporting a client proposal, developing new operational processes, supporting the launch of a new site, driving a people initiative, or coordinating a cross-functional business project.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in helping shape and support Amerit's continued growth across the UK and Europe.

You will be responsible for leading projects and workstreams across multiple business functions, ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively, efficiently and at pace.

• Lead and deliver projects across operational, commercial and corporate functions.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining quality and momentum.
• Support strategic growth initiatives, business transformation and operational expansion.
• Lead project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• Drive process improvement and business change initiatives.
• Support the development of customer proposals, mobilisation plans and operational readiness activities.
• Manage project budgets, risks, dependencies and timelines.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Operations, HR, Recruitment, Finance, Training, Legal and Health & Safety.
• Represent Amerit professionally with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Present recommendations and updates to senior leadership teams.
• Identify challenges early and implement practical solutions.
• Create structure, accountability and delivery focus across complex programmes.

We are seeking a highly organised, adaptable and commercially aware Project Manager with the ability to quickly understand new challenges and lead projects across a broad range of disciplines.

• Proven experience leading complex projects and programmes from initiation through delivery.
• Strong project planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Experience managing project budgets and resources.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and drive accountability.

• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Agile certification or Agile delivery experience.
• Experience within automotive, fleet, mobility, technology, EV or AV sectors.
• Exposure to operational start-ups, mobilisation projects or high-growth businesses.
• Experience with systems implementations, change management or business transformation projects.
