We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Global Field Operations & Continuous Improvement Lead  to join our global Field Application Engineering (FAE) team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link connecting our Quality, Product, IT, and worldwide Field Engineering teams. You will take ownership of tracking field projects, driving quality and technical initiatives, and proactively driving continuous process improvements. This position offers a great opportunity for an engineer seeking hands-on exposure to cross-functional project management, technical operations, and global team leadership.

 

  • Coordinate daily operational activities, project schedules, and resource allocations for field engineers globally.
  • Act as the central point of contact between field application engineers, quality, product, and sales teams to facilitate seamless communication and swift issue resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, progress reports, and real-time deployment dashboards.
  • Monitor performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive project success.
  • Provide first-line operational and technical guidance to field personnel resolving on-site challenges.
  • Facilitate global deployment of new product releases, software/hardware upgrades, and standardized technical protocols.
  • Organize and deliver technical training, updated documentation, and tooling improvements for field engineering teams.
  • Assist FAE team in troubleshooting and resolving field operational issues.
  • Assist in gathering and analyze field data (incident reports, maintenance logs, deployment times) to spot emerging trends and optimize operations.
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA) standards by auditing compliance with technical specifications, safety guidelines, and SOPs.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis investigations for field incidents and implement targeted corrective action plans to boost reliability.
  • Key interface between FAE and IT teams for technical issues resolution involving specification management tools.
  • Manage Commercial Part (PC) lifecycles—including creation tracking, internal part creation ownership, and part obsolescence—collaborating closely with Engineering, Innovation, and Product teams.
  • Act as the FAE superuser to test software enhancements, validate feature updates, and resolve system issues.
  • Deliver training and support to Field Application Engineers globally.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Computer Engineering, or related field).
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in engineering support, project coordination, or technical operations.
  • English & Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; ability to communicate clearly across diverse global teams and cultures.
  • Organization: Strong multi-tasking and project tracking abilities with acute attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process optimization and technical troubleshooting.
