Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for performing project management and manufacturing planning tasks for jobs and projects in a technical and dynamic aerospace environment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• →Creates a work environment that is conducive for teamwork and strong professional development.
• →Takes assigned projects from estimating stage through to completion, while providing budgeting and operational justifications, as well as performing manufacturing planning.
• →Provides customer interface for Project Kickoff, Design Reviews, Manufacturability Discussions, Engineering Change Discussions, Equitable Adjustment, and other responsibilities as assigned.
• →Performs initial and ongoing project reviews with internal/external customers.
• →Develops manufacturing planning, including material takeoffs, project schedule, and coordinates with the top management to schedule and plan work efficiently.
• →Identifies process deficiencies and develops solutions to correct and/or improve, root cause, and process flow.
• →Coordinates the lessons learned/project reflection process for each assigned project.
• →Perform additional assignments and/or duties as assigned by manager.
• →Customer Status support that may require contact (verbal, written, or both) as needed.

• Minimum of 3-7 years of engineering or project management experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Ability to initiate/manage cross-functional teams.
• Possesses critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to lead by influencing, negotiating, and delegating.
• Experience working in an AS9100 regulated environment.
• Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Project.

• PMP Certification, or equivalent work experience.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to sit or stand up to 8 hours per day uninterrupted.
