Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing

• →Follows job instruction to meet all established standards for labour, material utilization and product quality.
• →Ensure equipment runs at expected speed with minimal down time
• →Maintain reliability of bulk handling packaging lines
• →Maintain a Preventative Maintenance program
• →Troubleshoot
• →Continuous improvement through root cause elimination
• →Small capital projects
• →Acts in a leading role for facility improvements and facility maintenance
• →Train operators on operation and maintenance of equipment
• →Actively involved with new product development that may impact the manufacturing and packaging process
• →Interface with vendors on the possible purchase of equipment and facility needs
• →Maintain proper documentation for the dust collector system
• →Works with Line-Lead person on insuring weight scales are consistently providing proper data
• →Responsible for proper mixture of scent chemicals and additives
• →Maintain an active spare parts list
• →Follows and actively promotes safe work, good housekeeping and hygiene practices within the context of current or future legislation and safety program
• →Attends all group safety talks and alerts the Company of any safety hazard or housekeeping hygiene concerns

• Acts as resource and champion for department continuous improvement activities
