Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for resolving incidents escalating to or originating at the Systems Engineer level.

• →Responsible for administration of the Microsoft computing environment to include but not limited to:
• →Microsoft Domain Administration
• →Active Directory
• →domain controllers
• →Domain Names Services (DNS)
• →Troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues
• →Basic messaging system administration (e-mail)
• →PC and server hardware familiarity including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies) repair/replacement procedures.
• →Responding to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system.
• →Performing hardware and software System, including patches, upgrades, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability, and serviceability. 
• →Persons in this position will also be responsible for backup and recovery functions.

• Must maintain a current Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification and

• Five to Seven (5-7) years of experience working with the Microsoft computing environment.
