Maple Hills Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Kennel and Daycare Attendant to help us create a safe, enjoyable environment for our furry guests. You’ll supervise playgroups, care for boarding pets, and make sure every pet and owner has a great experience.

Responsibilities

→Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in daycare
→Keep pets safe by maintaining a clean, secure environment
→Feed pets and give medications according to their individual needs
→Help with grooming tasks like bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
→Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and other facilities
→Keep accurate records of feeding schedules, medications, and behavior observations
→Provide excellent customer service so every pet owner has a positive experience

Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.

Previous professional experience working with pets
Knowledge of basic dog behavior and canine body language
Confidence handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical stamina for bending and standing for long periods
Ability to lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
