Responsibilities

→Greet clients and their pets warmly, answer phones, and schedule appointments
→Check clients in and out and process payments
→Listen as clients explain why their dog, cat, bird, or rat is the best one that has ever lived
→Assist veterinarians with patient care, exams, and treatments
→Restrain patients safely, including the occasional cat rodeo
→Maintain accurate client and patient records
→Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of your teammates

Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.

Experience in veterinary client care or as a veterinary assistant
A passion for pets and veterinary care that shines every day
Strong client service and communication skills
Confidence handling patients, including the occasional uncooperative cat
A positive attitude (life is short; smile while you still have teeth!)
A desire to keep learning and help others grow
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required
