Senior Accountant

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Murrysville, PA.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant.  This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for various accounting functions related to financial analysis, general ledger reconciliations, internal reporting, and financial statement analysis.

• →Reconciliation of equipment inventory general ledger related accounts.
• →Assist in reconciliation of parts inventory general ledger related accounts.
• →Assist in reviewing machine estimates & purchase order receipts of inventory
• →Review of divisional financial statements and Equipment profitability
• →Prepare and review journal entries during month-end close process.
• →Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• →Review, analyze, and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations on monthly basis
• →Assist with year-end financial audit as required. Compile audit samples as requested by external auditors.
• →Create ad-hoc reports / analyze data as requested by management
• →Serve as backup for certain accounting functions performed by other members of team
• →Other general accounting duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 5-7 years of related accounting experience preferred
• CPA license a plus
• Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
• Experience with Power BI preferred
• Ability to multi-task on various projects
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company personnel.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
