Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Residence Specialist II professionals to join our Residential Services team in Vineland, New Jersey. Responsibilities

As a Residence Specialist, you'll provide direct support services that help residents develop life skills, achieve recovery goals, and maintain successful community living.

  • Support residents in achieving individualized recovery and treatment goals
  • Assist with daily living skills, personal growth, and community integration
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized service plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and resident records
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the treatment team
  • Facilitate recreational, educational, wellness, and skill-building activities
  • Provide transportation assistance when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Social Work
    • Psychology
    • Human Services
    • Counseling
    • Sociology
    • Or a related field

  • Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, residential services, human services, or community-based programs
  • Experience supporting individuals living with mental health or co-occurring disorders
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care
  • Experience as a Residential Counselor, Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Case Aide, or Community Support Worker
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
