Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Residence Specialist II professionals to join our Residential Services team in Vineland, New Jersey. Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Residence Specialist, you'll provide direct support services that help residents develop life skills, achieve recovery goals, and maintain successful community living.
- →Support residents in achieving individualized recovery and treatment goals
- →Assist with daily living skills, personal growth, and community integration
- →Participate in the development and implementation of individualized service plans
- →Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and resident records
- →Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the treatment team
- →Facilitate recreational, educational, wellness, and skill-building activities
- →Provide transportation assistance when needed
Requirements

- Social Work
- Psychology
- Human Services
- Counseling
- Sociology
- Or a related field
- Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, residential services, human services, or community-based programs
- Experience supporting individuals living with mental health or co-occurring disorders
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care
- Experience as a Residential Counselor, Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Case Aide, or Community Support Worker
- Bilingual English/Spanish
