Dental Assistant - (Buffalo)

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the operatory and dental laboratory, managing dental equipment, sterilizing instruments, processing radiographs, managing inventory, and performing clerical tasks to support the office operations.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma.
- Previous experience in a dental office.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry principles.
- Seat and dismiss patients, ensuring cleanliness in the operatory and dental laboratory with approved disinfectants.
- Maintain dental equipment following manufacturer guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments, take and process radiographs.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies.
- Perform clerical tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and utilizing computerized patient information systems.
- Provide professional and supportive interactions with patients.

**Additional Qualifications Preferred:**

- Certification as a Dental Assistant (e.g., recognized Registered Dental Assistant certification).

**Compensation:**

- Hourly rate: $20.87 - $28.47 for Certified Dental Assistants.
- Hourly rate: $18.68 - $22.32 for candidates without certification.
