**Job Summary:**
Are you a passionate and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician seeking to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive community setting? The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. is looking for a compassionate and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join their team. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), the organization is devoted to offering comprehensive, affordable, and accessible healthcare to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay. This role presents a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of underserved individuals and families in the Western New York community. The Internal Medicine Physician will deliver primary care services to adult patients, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and will receive a competitive benefits package including $75k medical student loan repayment eligibility through the National Health Service Corps.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assess the physical and psycho-social health status of adult patients through medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the internal medicine specialty.
- Manage chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease among others.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, consultations, and recommend appropriate therapeutic measures.
- Provide patient education and preventive healthcare services to adult patients.
- Provide clinical guidance to healthcare team members.
- Adhere to clinical policies, infection control principles, and confidentiality standards.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and assess medical students, if applicable.

**Qualifications:**
- Active medical license registration certificate for the state of New York.
- DEA license registration certificate for the state of New York.
- Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- CFP Authorization Number under NYS Worker’s Compensation.
- Hospital Privileges.
- Membership in professional medical organizations.

**Physical Demands:**
This role necessitates activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Some evening work and Saturdays may be required.

**Salary Range:**
$190,000 - $200,000
