Strong understanding of China IT ecosystem landscape and global standards and defines the technology strategy (global/local) for China that meets the business needs, legal regulations and optimizes the landscape costs/complexity/risks, governs the demand/influences leverage of common solutions where applicable and provide solution architecture services to ensure product quality.

Evangelize global technology strategies and standards and drive adoption within China where applicable

Build a robust and resilient application portfolio for China to power the business with requisite capabilities and be compliant to local regulations

Develop current state , future state architecture based on business capability roadmaps

Shepard all proposals and projects and ensure they leverage globally defined frameworks, standards, guidelines and patterns . Ensure appropriate governance process followed for any deviations and exceptions

Provide end to end solution architecture services to ensure solutions meet the desired business needs and are flexible, scalable , resilient and secure. This includes producing architecture deliverables leveraging globally defined architecture services framework. Key deliverables are: Conceptual, Logical and physical architectures holistically describing the target solution architecture

Maintain networking and working relations with Global EA Domain owners and functional SMEs to ensure timely engagement, transparency and aligned decision making

Stay abreast of defined technology standards, guidelines and patterns and latest technology trends

Stay uptodate on changes in Cyber Security Law, Personal Data Protection Law and Cross Border Data Transfer Law and their impact on China Technology landscape

Build strong understanding of the China IT ecosystem and identify opportunities to enable business growth

• Minimum 15+ years of industry experience
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent with Process Analysis, Requirement gathering, Solution architecture and implementation background
• Strong knowledge of business processes and capabilities across IT domains.
• Strong knowledge of China Technology eco system, Cyber Security Law, Personal Data Protection Law and Cross Border Data Transfer Law
• Ability to demonstrate a mindset for the Conceptual, Logical, Physical levels of architecture and apply them effectively.
• Demonstrate ability to influence technology strategy and solution design for key initiatives, to align with enterprise standards and adhere to architecture guiding principles.
• Apply proper level of thoroughness and due diligence to architecture recommendations and communicate with effective storytelling to all levels of the organization.
