Cash ISA Transfers Analyst

The Opportunity

You’ll be a core part of the Cash ISA Transfers team here at Chip. As we continue to grow and help our users build wealth, ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience when moving their money to us is critical. You will be responsible for monitoring, processing, and troubleshooting our customers' transfer requests, acting as the bridge between our users, our platform, and external providers.

  End-to-End Processing: Manage the daily processing of Cash ISA transfers, ensuring they are completed accurately and within internal SLAs.

  Provider Liaison: Communicate directly with 3rd party ISA managers to chase pending transfers, resolve discrepancies, and unblock delayed requests.

  Customer Support: Act as the point of escalation for customer queries relating to their ISA transfers, providing clear, empathetic, and timely updates.

  Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all transfer processes strictly adhere to internal policies and HMRC ISA regulations.

  Problem Solving: Investigate edge cases, broken flows, or missing funds, taking ownership of the issue until it is fully resolved for the customer.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly accurate in your work, you understand the importance of getting the details right when handling people's money.

• Analytical Mindset: Numerate with strong problem-solving skills and a basic to intermediate proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, as you will be dealing with our external financial institutions daily.

• Adaptability: A fast learner with the ability to multitask, prioritise a varied daily workload, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer-Centric: A genuine passion for delivering a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

• Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn and adapt as our products and processes evolve.

Nice to Have

• An understanding of ISAs and HMRC ISA rules.

• Prior experience working in a tech environment or a strong interest in FinTech (think challenger banks, wealth-tech, and app-based investing).

• Previous experience in operational processing or customer support within financial services.
