Church & Dwight is seeking a Sales Strategy & Enablement, Sr. Specialist – Home Care, to join our team. The Sales Strategy & Enablement, Sr. Specialist, links a Strategic Business Unit’s (SBU) strategies and plans to Field Sales.

About the Role

The Sr. Specialist works between the Marketing, Field Sales, and the Internal teams to communicate brand strategies for Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising and Promotion (DSMP). The Sr. Specialist works directly with field sales for an end-to-end plan to manage net sales growth across all classes of trade within an assigned strategic business unit portfolio of products.

  • Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • →

    Ensures alignment of strategic trade and brand marketing initiatives across the Category

  • →

    Responsible for the coordination and execution of customer businesses plans that meet brand strategies and deliver corporate growth, trade spend and profit objectives

  • →

    Identify and communicate class of trade specific sales opportunities and potential risks, developing execution plans with field sales to close business gaps on sales and/or profit

  • →

    Provide the detailed analysis required to make recommendations on key business initiatives

  • →

    Represent Sales at brand team meetings to provide direction and insight related to customers and brand performance

  • →

    Ensures efficient management of workflow and information between Category and Field Sales

  • →

    Coordinate the new product development process for the entire brand life-cycle.

    Represent sales in the S&OP process and resolve supply/demand/forecasting issues with cross-functional teams (Demand Planning, Customer Service and Marketing) and communicate accordingly to Sales.

    Develops deployment materials for the Sales Playbook (DSMPs)

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • 4+ years’ experience with emphasis on Trade Marketing, Field Sales and Sales Operations within a CPG Headquarters environment.

  • Knowledge of retailer go-to-market strategies and class of trade /channel dynamics

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of syndicated data systems and reporting methodologies

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint

What We Offer

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $92,500-$131,700. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
