Assistant Vice President, Cash & Trade Processing Manager, Transfer Agency

As a Transfer Agency Operations Manager, you will lead cash and trade processing for Citi's EMEA and APAC clients, acting as the operations subject matter expert for Transfer Agency services delivered from the Gurgaon Client Service Centre. You will manage a team of around 10 professionals, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time while driving operational control enhancements and digital adoption. This role offers the opportunity to shape process efficiency and support organizational change across a critical global operations function. ## Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end Transfer Agency operations for Citi's EMEA and APAC clients from the Gurgaon Client Service Centre, covering AML name screening, trade transaction monitoring, account opening and maintenance, trade booking, client reporting, cash settlements, broker commission processing, and reconciliation. * Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 operations professionals, managing performance, identifying training needs, and guiding hiring, promotion, and pay decisions. * Review service quality, production systems, and client reporting, and resolve complex transaction issues to keep team deliverables aligned with performance and quality expectations. * Drive process efficiency initiatives that strengthen operational controls and reduce manual effort. * Champion the adoption of digital solutions and support organizational change management activities. * Contribute to planning, budget management, and the development of operating procedures. * Serve as backup to the Senior Operations Manager and extend support to North America operations during complex cases as needed. * Assess risk in day-to-day decisions and escalate control issues with transparency to protect Citi and its clients. ## Required Qualifications & Skills * 5 to 8 years of experience in a cash and trade operations management role, including direct experience within Transfer Agency operations. * Demonstrated experience designing and implementing processes that improve operational performance. * Experience managing or supervising a team, including performance management and talent development. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex operational issues. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. ## What We Offer Join a team that manages global operations spanning Citi's EMEA and APAC markets, with opportunities to shape process improvements and digital transformation at scale. * Work in a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week. * Gain exposure to global Transfer Agency operations across multiple regions and time zones. * Build your leadership capabilities by managing and developing a dedicated operations team. * Access ongoing learning and development opportunities to grow your operations and leadership expertise. * Benefit from wellbeing and work-life balance support designed to help you perform at your best. * Receive financial wellbeing resources that support your long-term goals.
