Weekly Pay: $1,350–$1,500 average
Location: Tallahassee, FL (32301)
Home Time: 48 hours every other weekend
Freight: No-touch regional dry van freight
Regional lane coverage and dependable home time make this Tallahassee position a straightforward option for CDL-A truck drivers looking for steady regional work. The fleet runs on a repeating 12-day cycle with longer average hauls, no-touch freight, and a full 48-hour reset every other weekend.
The focus is keeping drivers productive across established Southeast regional lanes. Average hauls run 700–750 miles, giving drivers longer stretches behind the wheel instead of building the week entirely around short trips.
Most freight is drop-and-hook and no-touch. Some customers require live unloads, but drivers are not responsible for handling freight. Loads are planned ahead whenever possible to keep the transition between assignments moving efficiently.
The schedule is straightforward: run for 12 days, then return home for a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend.
The fleet consists of 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions.
Drivers have equipment designed for extended regional runs, including APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts. Preventive maintenance is completed regularly to help keep trucks available and reduce avoidable equipment downtime.
