Weekly Pay: $1,550–$1,850 | Home Time: Weekly Reset
Southwest Freight Movement | No-Touch Dry Van | Straightforward Operation
Drivers who prefer a simple operation with steady freight and clear expectations often find this fleet to be a strong fit. This CDL A truck driver position is built around consistent Southwest freight movement, organized dispatch planning, and reliable weekly schedules. Instead of constantly changing routes and freight networks, drivers operate within established lanes that help create a smoother workweek and more predictable earnings.
Location: El Paso, TX 79901
Weekly Pay: $1,550–$1,850
Home Time: Weekly 48-hour reset
Freight: No-touch dry van
Miles: 2,700–3,000 per week
This fleet focuses on keeping things straightforward. Freight moves through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, and surrounding Southwest markets using established customer freight and repeat lanes. Drivers spend less time dealing with last-minute changes and more time focusing on miles, deliveries, and maintaining a consistent schedule.
Dispatch works to plan freight in advance whenever possible, helping drivers know what is coming next before the current load is completed. The goal is simple: keep trucks moving, keep miles consistent, and provide a work environment that avoids unnecessary complications.
Freight consists primarily of no-touch dry van loads with a strong percentage of drop-and-hook freight. This helps minimize delays and keeps drivers productive throughout the week.
Most drivers average between 2,700 and 3,000 miles per week. Freight remains active year-round through established shipping lanes, helping support dependable weekly earnings and fewer gaps between assignments.
Drivers receive a full 48-hour reset every week. Because routes remain consistent and freight operates within a structured network, home time is easier to plan and generally follows a predictable schedule.
This position works well for drivers who want to stay productive while still maintaining regular time at home.
Drivers operate late-model Freightliner and International tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverter systems, and comfortable sleeper setups. Equipment is maintained through preventative maintenance programs designed to minimize downtime and keep drivers on the road.
