Drivers haul dry van freight across established regional lanes serving multiple states. Most loads are drop-and-hook, with some live unload deliveries depending on the customer. Running within an established freight network gives drivers more familiarity with the routes and freight patterns while helping maintain consistent mileage from week to week.
The schedule consists of 12 days on the road followed by a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend. Loads are planned in advance whenever possible to help drivers transition between assignments without unnecessary downtime. This structure provides dependable home time while still supporting steady regional mileage.
Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts for additional comfort while on the road. Preventive maintenance is scheduled regularly to help keep equipment reliable and minimize avoidable downtime.
