We are looking for a proactive Salesforce & Application Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role focuses on Salesforce administration and optimization, supporting business-critical applications, and providing general IT support. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, takes ownership, and thrives in a dynamic environment where their work makes a direct impact.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAdminister and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings
Design, build, test, and maintain automations using Flow
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Perform regular data audits to ensure data integrity across the system
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements
Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend relevant features or improvements
Provide end-user support for both existing functionality and newly implemented features
Produce and maintain process and user documentation
Provide support for other applications within the technology stack, including ERP and internal business tools
Assist with troubleshooting, user queries, and escalations across supported platforms
Contribute to documentation, user guides, and training materials for non-Salesforce applications
Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and coordinate minor enhancements
Escalate issues appropriately and assist with IT housekeeping tasks as required
Support the IT team with ad hoc tasks and projects as the business grows
2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with demonstrated Service Cloud experience
Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and platform best practices
Proficiency in Flow automation, report and dashboard creation, and data management
Experience supporting business applications beyond Salesforce (ERP, ticketing systems, or similar)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Salesforce certification(s) preferred
Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, or Visualforce is a plus
Experience in Agile environments or using project management tools such as Jira or Asana is advantageous
