The Land Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out field surveys, measurements, setting-out, mapping, and land-development survey activities across the agricultural estate. The role will provide accurate survey information required for land clearing, roads, drainage, irrigation, boundaries, and other estate-development works.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct topographical, boundary, setting-out, and other required field surveys.
  • Establish survey control points, levels, coordinates, alignments, and reference markers.
  • Support land clearing, field layout, road, drainage, irrigation, and infrastructure-development activities.
  • Take accurate field measurements and prepare survey records, calculations, and reports.
  • Interpret survey drawings, maps, coordinates, and project specifications.
  • Use appropriate surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, levels, and related tools.
  • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and equipment operators during setting-out and land-development works.
  • Maintain survey equipment properly and ensure collected survey data is accurately recorded and stored.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical land-surveying experience, preferably in agriculture, construction, infrastructure, or land-development projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and leveling instruments.
  • Good understanding of topographical surveys, setting-out, levels, coordinates, and field measurements.
  • Ability to interpret survey plans, maps, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with relevant surveying or mapping software.
  • Strong numerical ability, accuracy, attention to detail, and field problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in large-scale agricultural or infrastructure-development projects will be an added advantage.
