NRI North America is looking for an Azure Data and Analytics Solution Architect to join our growing team. You will work alongside your peers to design, build, and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients. You should have data engineering experience in Azure and be familiar with modern data platform technologies like Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.

Discuss best practices and strategies for modern data and analytics with clients

Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users

Configure and operationalize cloud infrastructure in Azure

Speak intelligently to Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap

Stay current Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong troubleshooting skills

Ability to adjust to new client cultures and projects

Adapt positively to change by embracing new practices, processes, or circumstances

Data engineering experience in Azure and be familiar with modern data platform technologies like Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.

3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling

Ability to design an end-to-end data analytics solution architecture and drive its implementation

Deep understanding of Agile engineering practices

Data Warehousing

Data ETL/ELT

Data Modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)

T-SQL

Azure Data Factory (or strong SSIS experience)

Azure Data Lake Store
