About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Head of Driver Supply to own and optimize our end-to-end driver ecosystem in Japan.

In this role, you will ensure we have the right number of drivers, with the right level of engagement, in the right locations and time windows—while balancing growth, cost efficiency, customer experience, compliance, and driver trust.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role focused on strategy, decision-making, and system optimization, rather than day-to-day execution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end driver funnel: signup → onboarding → activation → retention
  • Identify key bottlenecks and set strategy to improve supply health
  • Prioritize and allocate investment across acquisition, incentives, retention, and tooling
  • Make tradeoffs between growth, cost, CX quality, and compliance
  • Design and align promotions, rewards, and engagement programs
  • Ensure incentives drive the right driver behavior and avoid unintended outcomes
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, CX, and Product teams
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across stakeholders
  • Turn insights into scalable solutions (SOPs, automation, product improvements)
  • Improve operational efficiency and long-term system performance
  • Manage and guide a team across supply operations, onboarding, and integrity
  • Set clear goals, track performance, and coach team members

 

  • Overall driver supply health and performance in Japan
  • Funnel conversion and active driver growth
  • Incentive strategy and ROI optimization
  • Cross-functional governance and decision frameworks

 

  • 7+ years experience in operations, marketplace, strategy, or growth roles
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of data-driven decisions on KPI settings etc.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and complex systems
  • Ability to balance growth, cost, and customer experience tradeoffs
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
