Conducts quality inspections, analyzes vehicle service needs, and ensures adherence to operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
~1 min readManage and provide direction to the supervisors, teams and team members.
- →Ensure systems are in place to efficiently and effectively manage quality work in accordance with factory standards, company policies and customer expectations.
- →Ensure customer satisfaction through the direction of technicians/shop staff in the performance of quality maintenance and repair work.
- →Prepare schedules and plan staff rotations to ensure maintenance/repair work is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- →Analyze incoming vehicles for service needs.
- →Maintain supply and support systems, including technical reference material, workshop supplies and other related materials.
- →Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- →Mentor and teach technicians to ensure overall growth of the team.
- →Ensure that all personnel adhere to company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
~1 min read- BA/BS degree and 6+ years of related experience (reconditioning and/or lot operations; body shop; automotive service and/ or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience).
- At least 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.
- Good communication and interaction skills.
- Good management and organizational skills.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- The ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.).
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
