Assistant Carpenter

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the construction and installation of various structures and fixtures On Board Cruise Ship

- Measure and cut materials according to specifications

- Assemble and install structures, such as walls, ceilings, and floors

- Repair and renovate existing structures as needed

- Use woodworking tools and techniques to complete tasks

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from experienced carpenters

- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and ensure high-quality work

Requirements:

- Previous experience in carpentry or a related field

- Strong understanding of woodworking tools and techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials

- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure and cut materials

- Excellent communication skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Availability to work full-time, including weekends and evenings as needed

- Flexibility to work on different ships and travel as required
