Chief Purser ( Spanish Speaking)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Purser who is fluent in Spanish to join our team. As the Chief Purser, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the onboard financial operations and guest services. You will work closely with the ship's management team to ensure the smooth operation of the ship and the satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the onboard financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and cash management.

Supervise and train the Purser team to ensure excellent guest service and efficient operations.

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management.

Monitor and control onboard expenses, including inventory and purchasing.

Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Act as a liaison between the ship and the company's headquarters.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the ship.

Qualifications:

Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position onboard a cruise ship.

Extensive knowledge of financial operations and guest services.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
