Fitness Instructor (Portuguese Speaker)

We are looking for an experienced Fitness Instructor to deliver professional fitness services onboard a cruise ship. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading fitness activities, supporting guests with their wellness goals, and ensuring a safe, motivating, and high-quality fitness experience.

• → Conduct fitness assessments and personalised training sessions.
• → Lead group fitness classes and exercise activities.
• → Provide guidance on safe and effective exercise techniques.
• → Motivate and support guests in achieving their fitness goals.
• → Promote fitness programmes, personal training sessions, and wellness services.
• → Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the fitness area.
• → Ensure fitness equipment is used correctly and safely.
• → Assist with fitness-related guest enquiries and provide professional advice.
• → Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety issues.
• → Deliver excellent guest service in a professional and welcoming manner.
• → Follow company policies, health regulations, and shipboard procedures.

• Previous experience as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or similar role.
• Relevant fitness, personal training, or sports qualification.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness programmes, and wellness.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and motivational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
• Ability to work long hours and adapt to life and work at sea.
