Position: Head Light Technician

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all lighting systems on board, including interior and exterior lights, emergency lights, and navigation lights

- Conduct regular inspections of all lighting systems to identify and address any issues or malfunctions

- Create and maintain a schedule for routine maintenance and replacement of light bulbs and fixtures

- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex lighting problems, and develop effective solutions to ensure timely repairs

- Train and supervise a team of light technicians, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for replacement parts and supplies as needed

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs, and provide regular reports to management

- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and regulations related to lighting systems, and make recommendations for improvements as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or certification in lighting systems preferred

- Minimum of 3 years experience as a light technician, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Proven ability to lead and train a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and willingness to work flexible hours as needed

- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical work

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
