Responsibilities

- →Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and reconditioning programs.
- →Provide injury prevention education and training to service members and other designated personnel.
- →Administer therapeutic exercises, stretching programs, and corrective movement interventions.
- →Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- →Assist healthcare providers in evaluating and managing sports-related and occupational injuries.
- →Provide taping, bracing, and supportive therapies to prevent and manage injuries.
- →Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and physical conditioning techniques.
- →Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation in approved medical systems.
- →Participate in multidisciplinary case management and rehabilitation planning meetings.
- →Support health promotion and wellness initiatives aimed at improving operational performance.
- →Ensure compliance with applicable professional standards, policies, and safety requirements.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program
- Current, active, unrestricted license, registration, or certification as required by state regulations
- Current certification through the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a certified Athletic Trainer
- Experience working with military, tactical, collegiate, professional, or high-performance populations preferred
- Experience developing rehabilitation and injury prevention programs
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and injury rehabilitation
- Experience conducting functional movement assessments and performance evaluations
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to support physically demanding environments and operational requirements
- Work Environment
- Work performed in military treatment facilities, operational settings, and clinical environments throughout Japan
- Interaction with active-duty military personnel, beneficiaries, and healthcare professionals
- Compliance with Department of Defense, Military Treatment Facility, and organizational policies and procedures.
