About the Role

~1 min read

Crusoe seeks a dedicated and strategic Senior Program Manager to oversee and optimize our entire supply chain and procurement operation. This role is critical for driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high quality within our supply chain management, directly contributing to the overall success of Crusoe's Industries manufacturing services. We are looking for an innovative leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, bringing a strong background in procurement, supplier relationship management, and process improvement to the team. This is a full-time position with flexibility to be based in San Francisco (CA) or Seattle (WA).

  • Executive Dash-boarding & Analytics: Architect and maintain real-time supply chain dashboards that provide a single source of truth for executive leadership. You will translate complex data into actionable insights regarding spend, lead-time volatility, and deployment velocity.

  • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Own the strategic QBR process for Tier-1 suppliers. You will move beyond tactical performance tracking to drive long-term roadmap alignment, continuous improvement, and "Preferred Partner" status for Crusoe.

  • Infrastructure Tooling & Standardization: Drive the adoption of consistent procurement and tracking tools (e.g., Coupa, Jira, SAP) across all technical silos—including Networking, Compute, Storage, and Connectivity—to eliminate data silos and ensure a unified view of the global cloud stack.

  • Cross-Functional Data Modeling: Partner with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to develop predictive supply chain models that account for the unique lifecycle requirements of different infrastructure categories.

  • Standardized Performance Metrics: Establish and govern a unified KPI framework that measures supplier health and delivery performance consistently, whether the hardware is a high-density GPU cluster or a sub-sea fiber link.

  • Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and consistently aligned with company objectives.

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Manage the entire supply chain process, overseeing everything from raw material sourcing through to final product delivery.

  • Logistical Optimization: Analyze and optimize all logistical operations to ensure a seamless flow of goods and reduce overall operational costs.

  • Inventory Control: Oversee the inventory management process, implementing strategic solutions to mitigate stock shortages and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.

  • Risk Management & Contingency: Conduct comprehensive risk management for all supply contracts and agreements, including proactive contingency planning to ensure business continuity.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to accurately forecast demand and ensure perfect supply alignment.

  • Sustainability Integration: Implement and champion sustainability practices in procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with Crusoe Energy's environmental goals.

  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and supply chain innovations to maintain Crusoe Energy's competitive edge.

  • Travel: 35% +

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.

  • Experience & Leadership: Approximately 10+ years of experience in a supply chain or procurement leadership role, preferably within the energy sector.

  • Operational Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains, ensuring vendor compliance, and implementing process improvements.

  • Core Skills: Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

  • Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing activities such as RFPs, RFQs, Supplier Selection, and Risk Management.

  • System Proficiency: Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with the ability to navigate Crusoe Industries’ Acumatica (ERP) system.

  • Sustainability Knowledge: Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and relevant regulations.

  • Compliance: Must be able to pass a background check.
