We are�recruiting for a Strategic Initiatives�Program Manager�(Executive Assistant 1) to support the Executive Office. The position involves preparing and delivering clear written and verbal communications. It also includes using Microsoft Office and adapting to new software tools as needed. The role requires handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality. Effectively managing multiple tasks and deadlines, while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, will be essential.\r\n\r\n\r\n

PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

Acts as an executive assistant to a state elective officer or department head as defined in Section 4-5 of the Connecticut General Statutes and performs such duties as are assigned.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

\r\n Provide comprehensive operational and organizational support for OTT Strategic Initiatives, including CT Baby Bonds, the Safe Harbor Fund, and the Early Childhood Education Endowment.\r\n Coordinate advisory board and committee operations, including meeting scheduling, agenda and materials development, meeting minutes, and follow up.\r\n Assist with grant or application review processes for the Safe Harbor Fund, including intake management, tracking, and communication with applicants.\r\n Manage the CT Baby Bonds program CRM and customer support systems to ensure accurate data, strong workflows, and high-quality user experience.\r\n Serve as the primary contact for the CT Baby Bonds CRM vendor, coordinating with IT to oversee updates, system improvements, troubleshooting, and implementation of enhancements.\r\n Facilitate updates to program websites and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with program needs.\r\n Facilitate data-sharing agreements, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and related documentation for CT Baby Bonds with partner state agencies in coordination with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and OTT Legal.\r\n Manage CT Baby Bonds operational communications, including program mailings, notifications, logistics, and stakeholder engagement, in coordination with the Director of External Affairs and the Communications Team.\r\n Support wraparound service coordination across programs, including scheduling, communication, and partner engagement.\r\n Provide general administrative, organizational, and project management support for Strategic Initiatives as needed.\r\n\r\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants with the following experience/training:\r\n\r\n\r\n Experience with government programs, public sector operations, or legislative implementation.��\r\n Demonstrable experience supporting program design and implementations.\r\n Specific experience managing timelines, deliverables, and coordination across agencies and partners.\r\n Familiarity with data sharing agreements, compliance processes, or state agency workflows.\r\n Experience leading or supporting the coordination of multi-partner initiatives or implementation of wraparound services.\r\n Demonstrable experience convening stakeholders or participating in workgroups.��\r\n Background in program evaluation, data reporting, or performance measurement.\r\n Experience with digital platform management, website maintenance, or vendor coordination.\r\n Experience with community-based programs, child-focused initiatives, or economic mobility efforts.\r\n\r\n\r\n
