Warehouse Storeperson / Delivery Driver

Harvey Norman Commercial Division specialises in the supply of Goods to project builders, developers and architects.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Driver/Warehouse Storeperson to assist with delivery services of goods and warehousing from our Mitchell Branch. Some heavy lifting will be involved.

• →Carry out instructions as directed from Management and/or Supervisors
• →Drive truck or ute (when licensed) to do deliveries as required -  complete Run sheets as required – obtain signatures/names etc. of customers upon delivery. Complete all necessary paperwork.
• →Receiving – Unloading trucks, checking product codes and quantities against P.O’s
• →Put stock neatly in racks & record relevant rack location for GIR clerk
• →Despatch – Load Trucks for Deliveries - check all paperwork, product codes, condition of goods and ensure that all quantities are correct.
• →General warehouse duties i.e.: sweep floors; keep general areas clean & tidy.
• →Stock take - Preparation as required and requested
• →Warehouse Sale - Preparation as required and requested
• →Uniforms - Ensure Company supplied shirts and Hi visibility vests are worn at all times. Ensure that footwear is appropriate for warehouse safety.
• →Customer Service - Treat customers with respect at all times. Facilitate Customer Pick-Ups

The successful applicant will possess:
• Previous experience delivering and handling goods
• Current Driver’s licence
• Knowledge of local and surrounding areas
• A mature and positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
