Data Analyst

Job Summary: The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business insights and improve decision-making processes. This role involves developing and implementing credit scoring models, utilizing AI and machine learning techniques to enhance credit risk assessment and prediction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, AI, and machine learning, with experience in the financial services or fintech industry. Responsibilities Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends. Develop and generate reports to support business decisions and strategies. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders. Develop and implement credit scoring models to assess and predict credit risk. Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of credit scoring models. Continuously monitor and improve the performance of credit scoring models. Apply machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models and enhance data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate AI and machine learning solutions into existing systems and processes. Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and apply relevant techniques to business challenges. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security. Implement data quality control measures and maintain comprehensive documentation. Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and availability. Work closely with credit, risk management, and other teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner. Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve data analysis processes and tools. Implement best practices for data analysis, AI, and machine learning. Provide training and support to team members on data analysis techniques and tools Requirements Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). Experience with AI and machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn). Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing credit scoring models. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
