Senior IP Network Engineer

Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage a secure and reliable network infrastructure. Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution. Ensure network security through effective access control and monitoring. Configure and manage VPNs, ensuring secure communication. Utilize network diagnostic tools to monitor and analyze network performance. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to optimize network operations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network engineering. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. Requirements Knowledge and Experience Industry-related experience as a Senior IP Network Engineer Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the same role Professional certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP and optionally CCDP) Solid background in network administration and architecture IP-based WANs, LANs, and transport hardware and software. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPv4/IPv6.) Familiarity with access control models and network security, Skills in securing networks with firewalls, Cisco ASA, and other security appliances. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools) VPN Technologies: Experience with configuring and managing VPNs, particularly IPsec. Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS) Implement, and manage a robust and secure network infrastructure Sharp troubleshooting skills
