Responsible for the overall supervision, planning, direction and execution of work for non-exempt and/or exempt employees in a medium or large sized operational unit. The functional activities are complex and have a moderate impact on overall operations. This level supervises employees in complex clerical/administrative/trade, or complex technical functions that provide services to persons inside or outside the organization. Work performed is non-routine and complex semi-skilled, skilled, or technical in nature.

The Supervisor-Water Distribution supervises, leads, and monitors all water distribution, maintenance, and operational efficiency for the Dallas Water Utility. Supervises staff and oversees professional service to customers ensuring effective water distribution.

May be subject to twenty-four/seven (24/7) call-out.

Salary Range

$29.12 - $35.35

High school diploma or GED.

Six (6) years of experience in any of the following Water/Wastewater/Stormwater areas:

Construction
Engineering
Operations
Maintenance

Two (2) years of experience with lead/supervisor responsibilities. (This experience may be included in the required experience listed above.)

Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Some positions may require a valid Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) at time of application, or within probationary period.
Some positions may require specific licensure from Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) at time of application or within probationary period.
