📌 What We’re Looking For: Application Database Architect

We are looking for Application Database Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance, and resilient database systems that power our core applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our data architecture supports millions of daily transactions while enabling agility, reliability, and innovation at scale.

What You Will Do : 

• Application-Level Database Design: Design and implement database schemas, data models, and query strategies tailored to application requirements—ensuring performance, adaptability, and maintainability.
• Backend Integration: Collaborate with backend engineering teams to align database architecture with application logic and business workflows.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and fine-tune queries, indexes, and data access patterns to support fast, efficient data interactions across our systems.
• Scalability & Reliability: Architect solutions that support high availability and fault tolerance for systems processing millions of transactions daily.
• Data Strategy: Develop and implement data partitioning, sharding, replication, and caching strategies that match application usage patterns.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Provide architectural guidance and promote best practices in data management across engineering teams, contributing to the evolution of our technical ecosystem.
  

What You Will Need :

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex application-level database architectures.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and scalable database strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Solid foundation in backend systems and how data supports business logic and product features.
