Type: Full-time | On-site | San Francisco, CA Compensation: $160,000–$220,000 + Competitive Equity Hiring count: 1 Visa sponsorship: None available Reports to: Founders (Faraz & Rohan)

Bluejay is building the simulation, observability, and self-improvement layer for Voice AI agents, with a mission to be the trust layer between AI and humanity. Founders Faraz and Rohan left Microsoft and AWS, where they built critical infrastructure for MSFT Copilot and AWS Bedrock. Voice is the hardest modality for AI, and Bluejay builds the evaluation infrastructure to make voice agents reliable enough to succeed with real customers.

In just one year, Google, DoorDash, public healthcare companies, public banks, most drive-through fast-food chains, and corporations across five continents have used Bluejay to understand and improve their Voice AI agents. The company handles millions of calls a month, creating hard real-time product and engineering problems.

Founded: 2025 | Team size: 10 | Total funding: $4M (seed, 2025, backed by Floodgate, PeakXV, and YC) | Revenue: seven-figure Industry: AI Tools / Voice AI infrastructure Website: getbluejay.ai Office: The Sky, Union Square, San Francisco

  • Hard real-time problems at scale: Millions of calls a month means genuine engineering challenges in resilient AWS infrastructure and real-time conversation simulation.
  • Marquee customer list, tiny team: Google, DoorDash, public banks, and drive-through chains across five continents, all served by a 10-person team on seven-figure revenue.
  • Full ownership from day one: High-bar, full-stack IC role with technical execution ownership; you'll build, sell, and deploy directly to some of the world's largest companies.
  • None provided on the role page.

As a Member of Technical Staff, you'll architect and develop systems that simulate, analyze, and evaluate conversational AI agents across voice and multimodal systems, and design resilient, scalable AWS infrastructure to handle millions of real-time conversations. This is a high-bar, full-ownership, customer-facing role on a 10-person team.
