THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a mission-driven, well-funded fintech (~40 people, founded 2021, $50M+ raised) serving Hispanic immigrants in the US — helping them turn hard work into upward mobility through financial services, processing $1.5B+ in annual transaction volume with 20%+ month-over-month growth. This is the company's #1 priority hire: own and elevate the brand as a first-time, hands-on leader.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the complete brand strategy end-to-end, from narrative to campaign execution across social, paid, email, web, and out-of-home. Partner with the Head of Growth and founders to make brand awareness a primary growth driver. Manage a mixed team of staff, fractional talent, agencies, and vendors while staying creatively hands-on. Oversee Spanish-language content quality and cultural authenticity. Build brand-health measurement linking creative to business metrics.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 90 days: define the brand narrative and ship high-quality bilingual creative. First year: make brand awareness a measurable growth driver.
MUST-HAVES
5–10 years in brand/content marketing; Spanish fluency and cultural authenticity for a Latin American immigrant audience; hands-on creative leadership across channels.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Fintech or mission-driven consumer brand experience; experience as a first brand hire building from scratch.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$160K–$200K base (USD), competitive equity. Visa transfers supported; new sponsorship assessed case-by-case.
LOCATION & WORK MODEL
Hybrid in New York City, 4 days in office; relocation supported.
