About the Role
~1 min readThis is a zero-to-one Founding GTM role working directly with the CEO. You'll build the entire growth function from scratch and own how both sides of the marketplace engage with the business. Success means creating scalable acquisition channels, building content and narrative systems, launching referral programs, and establishing repeatable outbound growth motions.
- Own company positioning, messaging, website copy, case studies, and founder social presence
- Build and scale recruiter and customer referral programs, reactivation campaigns, and lifecycle marketing systems
- Design and execute outbound strategy, messaging, targeting, sequencing, and paid acquisition across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google
- Own product launches and events from positioning and copywriting through execution
- Build systems and processes that compound over time and create scalable growth
Requirements
~1 min read- Exceptional writer capable of creating founder content, website copy, outbound messaging, and campaign content with a consistent voice
- High-agency mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
- Startup velocity and willingness to build from scratch without a playbook
- Strong ownership mentality across customer outcomes, product outcomes, and growth metrics
- New graduate to early-career candidates welcome — raw talent and potential prioritized over years of experience
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Growth, marketing, GTM, or founder experience at an early-stage startup
- Experience with paid acquisition platforms — LinkedIn, Meta, and Google
- Familiarity with marketplace or two-sided platform businesses
- Recruiting industry experience or familiarity
- Demonstrated content creation or campaign-building experience
Strong signals include founder or early startup GTM experience, strong content writing and narrative-building skills, unconventional backgrounds with evidence of grit and perseverance, and demonstrated ability to build and execute independently.
- Candidates with multiple years of traditional marketing experience without startup exposure
- Those who require a defined scope, process, or playbook
