Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

• →Build and ship complex backend services and infrastructure that interface with LLMs and generative AI models
• →Own zero-to-one projects end to end, from MVP prototypes to hardened, scalable, secure production systems
• →Help scale existing, widely adopted products as they roll out to more organizations
• →Improve backend architecture, observability, and code quality
• →Work within a flat engineering structure, directly alongside other engineers and the CTO

Tech stack: Python backend; production LLM / generative AI systems

• 5–10 years in backend-leaning full-stack software engineering
• Hands-on experience at an early-stage startup (pre-seed through Series B)
• Strong, demonstrable technical depth — someone who ships quickly and can clearly explain their own code
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
• A clear track record of excellence (for example, a top-tier university, a high-growth startup, leadership roles, or standout technical involvement)
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of ownership
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (US citizen or green card holder)

• Experience with, or genuine interest in, healthcare or health-tech AI
• Experience building with production LLMs or generative AI

• Location: San Francisco, California
• Work policy: Hybrid — 3 days in-person
• Compensation: $170K–$230K + equity
