Analytical Engineer (12- months contract)

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern data environment, partnering with business and technology teams to deliver trusted, high-quality data that drives strategic decision-making.

• →Translate business requirements into structured, analytics-ready datasets.
• →Analyse, profile, validate, and transform large volumes of enterprise data.
• →Design and maintain robust data models using Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelling techniques.
• →Develop advanced SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and reporting.
• →Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across analytical solutions.
• →Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects to deliver trusted data products.
• →Support reporting, business intelligence, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• →Identify opportunities to improve data processes, standards, and governance.

• 5+ years' experience in Data Analysis within enterprise environments.
• 5+ years' experience in Data Modelling, including Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelling.
• 5+ years' experience working with Data Governance principles.
• Advanced SQL skills with strong experience in data transformation, profiling, and validation.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to bridge business and technical teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Experience with Azure Data Platform and Databricks.
• Exposure to enterprise data warehouses and modern cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Controls.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Business writing and documentation skills.
• Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector will be advantageous.
