The In-Store Communications Designer drives Decathlon's customer journey by delivering an exceptional end-to-end brand experience across all stores nationwide. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Stores, E-Commerce), this role focuses on elevating visual merchandising, boosting product value perception, and maintaining consistent brand standards to inspire customers through sport.
Responsibilities

- →Collaborating with our United Retail Lab and Hub Asia on the implementation of future winning omnichannel customers’ journeys.
- →I ensure support to Retail Teams for openings and maintenance of existing stores, guaranteeing compliance to brand and layout guidelines.
- →Remain up to date with the industry’s best practices through competitors' visits and research lifestyle, demographics and merchandising trends.
- →Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market
- →Assist the Concept Leader in monitoring and managing costs, work within budget, liaise with suppliers, source elements, oversee the production, delivery, and implantation of materials, and brief teams on arranging displays.
- Collaborating with the Sports Visual Merchandisers following United guidelines and optimizing the LM (linear meters) across all Philippines Stores.
- Collaborate with Commercial Leaders, Supply Team, and Retail Teams to ensure the plans are implemented correctly. I am part of the commercial ecosystem, I participate in product training, range choice process and seasonal launch for my sports.(Validation process of the merchandising plans, Selection of the products and visits to the stores with the Commercial and/or Communications Teams).
- Ensure and boost the easy and quick shop experience. I test physical layouts with a panel of pilot stores and make adjustments based on performance and feedback.
- Facilitate customers’ buying decisions by ensuring the product information is readily accessible (at eye level, and showing relevant information).

- Mobile: ability to move from store to store to do regular checks on communication materials.
- Strategic thinker: able to develop and consider the strategic implications of any kind of decision, with a holistic view.
- Very rigorous, proactive, well-organized and autonomous with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
Requirements
~1 min read- Proven work experience in Visual Merchandising and/or Visual Management.
- Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization such as but not limited to:
- Monthly Staging
- Key Visuals
- Nonstructural POSM (Point of Sales Marketing) - Empire Visual, Printed Cards (A4, A3, among others), Wobbler/Violator (Stop Rayons, hang signs), Shelf Talker (Balisage), Cassette Visual (Banners, Standees), Product Sticker, and Special POSMs
- Special Activations
- Product Photoshoots & Editing
- Animation Visuals is a plus
- Adobe After Effects Visuals is a plus
- Monthly Staging
- Must have proficient knowledge of the following tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other visual design tools (Adobe After Effects, CAD/Sketchup is a plus).
- Knowledge of current Visual Merchandising trends and industry best practices.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and survey results.
- Mobility - ability to move from store to store to do regular checks on communication materials to see its implementation according to Brand Guidelines and Commercial Campaigns.
- Organized - has the ability to liaise between several departments and pays excellent attention to detail.
