About the Role:
As Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing function for Demetres, Scooped by Demetres, and our growing CPG retail line. You'll report directly to leadership and work hand-in-hand with a growing team and any external creative partners to plan, execute, and measure everything from seasonal campaigns, to limited time offerings to influencer activations and SEO.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll set the content calendar, manage the brand voice across platforms, and serve as the in-house authority on what resonates with our guests in-restaurant, online, and on-shelf.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Campaign Leadership
- Develop and own the annual marketing strategy across all three lines of businesses: Demetres restaurants, Scooped by Demetres, and CPG grocery ice cream
- Lead seasonal and campaign-level creative briefs, from concept through execution, with a sharp eye for on-brand storytelling
- Maintain and evolve distinct brand identities for Demetres and Scooped
- Identify and execute earned media opportunities including press pitches, partnership activations and collaborations
Social Media & Content
- Oversee the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms for both brands
- Direct and collaborate with internal and external marketing resources on photo, video, and copy production
- Build and manage an influencer and UGC program by identifying the right partners, briefing visits, and leveraging content across channels
Digital Marketing & SEO
- Own local SEO strategy across Google Business Profiles for all Demetres and Scooped locations
- Drive website content strategy including landing pages, FAQs, and seasonal campaign pages
- Oversee digital ad campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Google) and paid influencer placements, setting KPIs, managing budgets, and reporting on performance
- Identify SEO and AEO whitespace opportunities and develop content to capture high-intent local search traffic
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and R&D to keep marketing aligned with business priorities
- Work with our in-store management team to drive local store marketing
- Manage external vendors including photographers, designers, and agencies
- Report on marketing performance to leadership with clear metrics and strategic recommendations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategy role
- Strong creative instincts balanced with an analytical approach to campaign performance
- Experience with graphic design, an eye for visual identity
- Experience with social media strategy and content production for Instagram and TikTok
- Familiarity with local SEO, Google Business Profile management, and digital advertising platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
- Access to reliable transportation to visit our restaurant locations and attend off-site events
- Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and evenings depending on natural business needs

This is in our state of the art Vaughan office, R&D, and production facility located on Strada Drive near Highway 7 & Pine Valley (close to Hwy 400 & Hwy 407).
