We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead Carpenter to support field operations on modular construction projects. This role combines hands on work with leadership responsibilities, guiding a small crew while ensuring high quality finishes, productivity, and adherence to safety standards on site.
Requirements
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Direct and mentor a team of carpenters, apprentices, and laborers on active construction sites.
- →Assign team members scheduled tasks bases on skillsets
- →Explain project expectations and monitor individual performance.
- →Perform fine carpentry including framing, installation, drywall finishing, a trim.
- →Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- →Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- →Monitor work to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.
- →Enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- →Identify and rectify defects before final handover.
- →Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets the company's zero-punch list quality standards.
- →Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth workflow and scheduling.
- →Maintain tools, materials, and a clean organized job site.
- →Communicate progress, needs, and concerns to the Foreman or Project Manager.
- →Train, mentor, and support crew members.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- 4-6 years of experience in high end interior finish carpentry, and related trade.
- Prior on-site management or lead experience preferred.
- Ability to complete projects within budget.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Ability to use measurement tools accurately.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job site safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs while working in physically demanding environments.
- Reliable with strong work ethics and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel 100%.
