Senior Mechanical Engineer

Collaborates with product development teams to turn concepts into reality. Ensures that product design and associated manufacturing processes meet all safety requirements. Applies mechanical expertise contributing to build conceptual product models, product prototypes and establish manufacturing requirements, including materials. Designs, and prototypes Mechanical features for new or legacy products

Collaborates across Development Engineering and other technical teams to define architecture, optimize performance and right size environments.
- →Sets direction and provides strategic guidance for new technologies and tools.
- →Manages release cycles for new technologies and products.

Defines Agile Development Engineering processes and procedures along with quality guidelines and standards.

Responds to escalated technical, process and other issues.
- →Recognized as a subject matter expert in Mechanical Engineering design and manufacturing matters.

Able to lead prototyping and establish manufacturing requirements with minimal supervision.
- →Works closely with manufacturing and production support teams to ensure final quality of products meets all safety and design requirements.
- →Able to drive and manage projects spanning multiple departments and disciplines, including but not limited to sales, installation, service, documentation, quality, manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
- →Seeks and provides feedback to enhance the work of the unified teams focused on bringing the product to market.
Requirements

- Experience with 3-D CAD design
- Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication, including reviewing drawing, tolerances, tooling constraints and production changes.
- Experience working with suppliers on molded plastic parts, including reviewing drawing, tolerances, tooling constraints and production changes.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
