Responsibilities

  • →

    Lead and manage maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities across critical electrical, mechanical, and technical systems 

  • →

    Plan, schedule, and oversee day-to-day maintenance activities in collaboration with Site Management and Lead Engineers

  • →

    Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions 

  • →

    Lead switching procedures and ensure smooth execution of system changes with minimal disruption to operations 

  • →

    Manage incident response, including on-call duties and execution of Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) 

  • →

    Ensure compliance with safety standards, approved processes, and regulatory requirements 

  • →

    Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of work 

  • →

    Maintain and review documentation, including MOPs, Change Requests (CRs), and EOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance 

  • →

    Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to junior engineers, supporting team development and recruitment efforts 

  • →

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including energy efficiency, operational optimization, and ad hoc infrastructure projects

 

  • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical operations and maintenance of large-scale electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems. Chargeman A4 license is required. 

  • Technical education or certification in mission-critical operations or a related engineering field 

  • Vocational training or equivalent experience in a technical or site engineering discipline 

  • Strong hands-on experience in maintaining electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems 

  • Familiarity with fire detection and suppression systems (preferred) 

  • Basic knowledge of elevators (conveyor systems) and/or security systems (CCTV, access control) 

  • Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic equipment 

  • Relevant internal or industry certifications (e.g., Digital Realty or equivalent)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges 
     

  • Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a drive to enhance service delivery 

     

  • Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail 
     

  • Resilience and ability to perform effectively under pressure 
     

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
     

  • Proven leadership ability, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding technical teams
