Procurement Officer

We’re recruiting a Procurement Officer for one of our clients, a leading organization in the energy sector based in Dubai, UAE. About Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services for power generation and desalinated water production, with a strong international presence. Operating across more than 10 countries in the Middle East & North Africa, South Africa, Eastern Europe, and Vietnam, the company manages a significant portfolio of over 28,000 MW of power generation capacity and more than 5.3 million m³/day of desalinated water production. Key Responsibilities: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the energy or related industries Prepare commercial bid evaluations for high-value tender contracts Assist in developing and managing RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs Support procurement operations and workflows, coordinating with different departments to ensure services are delivered effectively and products are delivered on time and according to requirements Manage the end-to-end procurement process for products and services, from defining the scope of work through to coordination with the Logistics Department Manage and maintain vendor contracts, including negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions Analyze and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements Identify and onboard new vendors while supporting vendor development initiatives Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and RFQs using Jaggaer and SAP S/4HANA Benefits Employee Benefits as per the UAE Labor Law
